When traveling under eye masks are a must! I usually have a couple hour of layovers and waiting all that time can be very tedious and tiring. I never get enough sleep and the best way to solve my puffiness and dark circles is using these magical little masks to hydrate and moisturize my skin.

These false lashes aren’t a travel must for everyone, but if your like me and need to take pictures everywhere you go to capture the moment, these tend to be useful. On my next trip I am going to the Blue Lagoon in Iceland and I will be in contact with water so wearing heavy makeup isn’t a good idea. Lash extensions at a salon are very convenient, especially in the summer, but their not for me. I had lash extensions done at a salon but, I had a allergic reaction or something and won’t be getting them done anymore. My eyes were very itchy,  my vision was blurred, and my contacts were very irritated. Therefore,  although they looked wonderful, they were really annoying and I don’t think I will get them done anytime in the near future. The best alternative is wearing false lashes. They are very easy to but on and to take off. If you put them on properly they can really look like your own lashes and the length looks amazing for those Instagram photos!

Personal Hygiene

When traveling taking care of your personal hygiene is a must! When you’re on a long flight, its important cleanse your face and take off your makeup. Let your pores breathe! If you really need makeup on go to a restroom after getting of your flight and apply a quick makeup look. Brushing your teeth is also a must. When traveling you’re around a lot of people and having fresh breath would be nice. The smell of sweat is also very unpleasant, especially when you stress. Deodorant is essential! Airports and airplanes tend to be very cold so you will probably get a runny nose so make are you have those tissues.

Victorias Secret has the best quality makeup bags. I’ve had this one for a couple years now, used it as a makeup bag and pencil case, and it still looks brand new. Its very girly and cute. Its not that big so its perfect for traveling.

These help with fresh breath and ear popping. I have so much more gum and mints, which I wont even finish, but I like having all these because it gives me a lot of variety to choose from.



I probably actually read about 10 whole books, without using spark notes, over the past 20 years. I hate reading. I can’t focus while reading. I think about other things. I get bored. It’s not for me. Although I’m not a fan, I do like reading magazines and looking through pages with fashion and makeup.



I purchased my luggage in TJMaxx. I fell in love with this design by Nine West and had to have it. I find that having a luggage that is different from everyone else is easier to find and makes things quicker.

Airport Snacks


I had two layovers at night so coffee was a must. My travel time is 23 hours and I only got 1 hour of sleep on my flight to Iceland. I can’t stop yawning right now! I got to Iceland at 12 midnight and I will be up until 4 pm so another coffee will be needed. The coffee pictured was from Costa and it was a medium Viva Vanilla Iced Coffee with dried strawberries on top. It smelled like heaven. I was also starving so I had a blueberry muffin from Costa. Then once I got to Iceland I had a turkey sandwich.

Before you buy your tickets check a countries regulations. I learned to check last year when my brother was flying back to the USA. The policy in Poland is that you can’t stay in Poland for more than 3 months on an American passport. He was studying in Poland all year so he crossed his 3 month regulation. Even though he is a Polish citizen, he still needs a polish passport to travel and we haven’t used ours since we were little so the yelped. His whole flight ha dot be canceled, since he was in Warsaw I had to book him a note, and his whole  return ticket from the USA was canceled as well. I had to get him a new ticket to the UK and from there he got on a flight to the USA. It was a long a confusing process and I hope it never happens again. Try to avoid something like this from happening by checking the regulations first.

 Love of My Life

Everyone keeps on asking me if I will miss my boyfriend. What kind of question is that.. of course I will. I didn’t just one day decide that I want to go away for 2 months. I always go either to Poland or the USA for the summer so for me its the same thing as always, except now I have Daniel. I’m used to being away from someone I love so I’m not really worried that much about it. When I was younger I ways away from my mom for the whole summer and this year I was away from her for a whole year. So even though it might be hard, I think that this will make our relationship grow even more. It will help us work on our trust, communication, and our future with one another. Even though I’ll be so far way that doesn’t mean I’ll stop loving him.

Puszyste Ciasto z Truskawkami

2 i 1/4 szklanki mąki tortowej
5 jajek – osobno żółtka i białka
3/4 szklanki cukru
2 łyżeczki proszku do pieczenia
1/3 szklanki mleka
200g masła
500g obranych truskawek
1 opakowanie cukru wanilinowego
cukier puder do posypania



1. Do rondelka z grubym dnem włożyć posiekane masło, cukier wanilinowy i wlać mleko. Podgrzewać mieszając, aż masło się rozpuści, zdjąć z ognia i odstawić na 15-20 minut do przestygnięcia.

2. Mąkę przesiać i wymieszać z proszkiem do pieczenia.

3. Białka ubić na sztywną pianę i stopniowo, ciągle miksując, dodać cukier. Ubijać mikserem, aż powstanie gęsta masa i cukier się rozpuści. Następnie w dwóch partiach dodać żółtka i dokładnie wymieszać mikserem.

4. Do jajecznej masy, ciągle mieszając, stopniowo wlać roztopione masło i wymieszać łyżką lub szpatułką. Na końcu dodać w dwóch/trzech partiach mąkę i wymieszać krótko łyżką lub szpatułką.

5. Ciasto przełożyć do blaszki wyłożonej papierem do pieczenia o wymiarach 25x30cm, wyrównać.

6. Truskawki oprószyć 1 łyżką mąki i pokroić na połówki lub jeszcze drobniej. Poukładać je na wierzchu ciasta i wstawić do nagrzanego piekarnika. Piec w temperaturze 180oC na funkcji góra-dół przez około 55-60 minut. Przed podaniem można posypać cukrem pudrem.

Brownie Recipe


Bottom layer/Chocolate Chip Cookies:

  • 1 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips


  • Oreo Cookies

Top layer/Brownie:

  • Brownie Mix
  • Egg
  • Half cup of vegetable oil


    1. Combine melted butter and sugars in a large bowl.
    2. Add egg, stir well.
    3. Stir in vanilla extract. Set aside.
    4. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
    5. Gradually add flour mixture to wet ingredients — stir well so that all the flour is absorbed
    6. Stir in chocolate chips.
    7. Place dough in refrigerator and chill for 30 minutes.
    8. Preheat oven to 350F (177C) and prepare cookie sheets by lining with parchment paper.
    9. Scoop dough onto baking pan, covering the whole baking pan.
    10. Spread Oreo cookies evenly all over cookie layer.
    11. Mix brownie mix. egg, and oil in separate bowl.
    12. Once mixed well, pour evenly over Oreos .
    13. Bake on 350F (177C) for 20 minutes — cookies may still seem slightly soft in the centers, that is OK, they will cook completely on the baking pan. (Don’t over-bake or your cookies will be too hard)
    14. Allow to cool completely on baking pan.
    15. Enjoy:)

Always start your morning off with a healthy breakfast. Oatmeal with fruit is always a go to quick and easy breakfast.

I almost never drink coffee. Instead I love a warm cup of green tea with a slice of lemon.

Sugar Cravings

Its everywhere

When it comes to sugar, you can’t keep me away from it. Knowing the awful side effects such as weight gain, higher blood pressure,  higher risk for diabetes, heart disease and cancer, I kept on having cravings for something sweet. No matter how hard I tried eliminating sugar out of my diet, I couldn’t. Everywhere I went, it was there.


Sugar is an addictive like Cocaine or Heroine . Scientist found that sugar stimulates the same pleasure centers of the brain as cocaine. Therefore, eliminating sugar will lead to withdrawal and cravings. When eliminating sugar don’t cut it off immediately. Instead start slowly and continue with a detox process.


When eliminating sugar, eliminate processed food such candy bars, ice cream, and sugary drinks. For example, I replaced orange juice with water, regular milk with unsweetened almond milk, and nutrition bars with fruit. Although fruit is the healthier choice, there is also a limit to how much you can eat. Fruit contains fructose causing fruit to have a high sugar content. Too much sugar in fruit cause an increase in belly fat which  increase the chance of type 2 diabetes.

Self Control

Self control is the hardest thing when overcoming an addiction. To avoid snacking and binging clean out your cabinets. Throw out any fake processed food and replace it with healthy organic food. Always have a bowl of fruit on the table. When you get a sudden craving grab a piece of fruit.

To avoid you cravings you can also find a new hobby. Hobbies include going for run, going to the gym, listening to music, or reading a book.

Staying organized and keeping a schedule also helps me with my bad eating habits. When I have a schedule I only eat when I’m supposed to. Usually after having a strict schedule for around 3 weeks, you will get used to your new lifestyle.

Helpful Tips

When going out with friends, going to a family function, etc., avoid sugar temptation by saying you have allergies. I learned this from my cousin and I find this very useful. I don’t only use this to stop my sugar addiction. You can use this in any uncomfortable situation. I use this when I’m out and offered alcohol. Saying no thank you I’m allergic will definatly get someone to stop questioning you.

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
